Summary

  Wikipedia's success has always been a subject of controversy, much like an ongoing family debate. Its founders have differing opinions about it, akin to how family members always have their own perspectives. Yet the Wikipedia community has consistently engaged in thoughtful introspection and discussions about its identity and modus operandi, akin to a group of close friends collectively pondering the future. Despite past predictions of its failure, Wikipedia remains one of the closest realizations of the universal encyclopedia vision. Even in its most challenging times, its content remains a valuable resource for us. While its success may not be flawless, it undeniably inspires us to pursue knowledge and collaboration.

Interesting point

  I find the most intriguing aspect of the article is its emphasis on the importance of Wikipedia's culture and community for its success, as well as their resilience in the face of challenges. This highlights Wikipedia's uniqueness as a shared knowledge platform.
