Chapter 8 Conclusion: "A Globe in Accord"

 This paper examines the uniqueness and complexity of Wikipedia as an open content community. Each puzzle block describes the Wikipedia operation mechanism based on the old puzzle metaphor that represents a different language or cultural background contributor. With this diversity and cooperation, Wikipedia can work as a whole, but the process of realizing it is full of challenges and controversies.


I read this article and felt the importance of honesty and a neutral view in Wikipedia. The neutral viewpoint guaranteed the objectivity and fairness of the encyclopedia, and sincerity promoted respect and cooperation among contributors. The technical tools and collaboration platforms mentioned by the authors have provided significant support for this process, but more importantly, the community culture and values that lead to the results of Wikipedia complete.


But in the text, we discussed the various issues faced by Wikipedia, such as the quality of the content, community governance, and long-term sustainability. Nevertheless, this was considered a phenomenal value, affecting the founders' success, global knowledge sharing, and cooperation, and continuing to enlighten and outwit the founders' initial expectations.


In general, this article has given a deep insight into the complexity and success of the Wikipedia project, as well as the open content community and the online collaboration platform. We show how to achieve a bold global vision through openness, integrity, and diversity, and still have strong appeal and influence in the face of various challenges and changes.
